Eight stages, three phases,
a deliverable at every milestone

Every machine project follows the same sequence, whatever its size. You know where yours stands at any moment, what you will receive at the end of each stage — and everything we produce belongs to you.

Phase 1 — Design

01 Kick-off. We gather your data, frame the specification and set the project schedule. Deliverables: client data, specification, project schedule.

02 Studies. Electrical and mechanical studies run in parallel, from the same input data — that is what having both design offices in one team makes possible, and what shortens the design phase. Deliverables: bill of material, assembly drawings, electrical schematics.

03 Functional analysis. The document describing what the installation must do. It is the roadmap for development, and you approve it before the first line of code. It covers safety functions, operating modes, functionality, HMI commands and information, fault list and architecture. Sequences are specified as GRAFCET to NF EN 60848. Deliverables: detailed functional analysis, installation description book.

Phase 2 — Development

04 Programming. Development of the machine application from the approved functional analysis: PLC, HMI, robot and vision depending on scope.

05 Simulation and preliminary testing. The installation is proven before any intervention — in simulation, but also on real hardware: temporary wiring on the bench, or a reduced-scale test rig. Deliverables: screen views, operating description.

06 Start-up and testing. Power-up, functional testing, adjustment and ramp-up.

Phase 3 — Validation

07 Provisional acceptance. You take over the installation. Remaining points are logged in the Follow-Up, a shared spreadsheet that becomes the reference until the last item is closed.

08 Final validation. No blocking item left in the Follow-Up: the project is closed and the full documentation set is handed over.

On request, we also supply: IQ/OQ, FAT and SAT protocols, HMI manual, risk assessment to EN ISO 12100, programs and GRAFCETs.

We do not wait for problems, we go looking for them

A technology we have never used is learned in our workshop, never on a client's site.

This is an engineering rule before it is a commercial choice. A problem found in the workshop costs a day of design office time; the same problem found on site costs a stopped line, a mobilised team and a restart date that keeps moving. We prefer the first.

  • Temporary wiring on the bench to prove a component, a protocol or a specific function. Real hardware reveals what no datasheet says.
  • Reduced-scale test rig when a whole machine is involved. Motions, sequences, HMI and fault handling validated on hardware that actually moves, before yours stops.
  • Site communications verified in advance, while the machine is still running. An incompatibility found mid-shutdown costs days.
  • Simulation and digital twin: the machine is run offline before it exists, or before it is modified.

This is also what makes our lead times credible. Announcing a two-week shutdown only means something if most of the difficulties have already been met and solved elsewhere.

Everything we produce belongs to you

This is a firm position in an industry where many integrators deliver a locked program and keep the key. We do the opposite.

  • Sources, not just executables: PLC, HMI, robot and vision programs, schematics in source format and not only as PDF, mechanical models and drawings, functional analysis and wiring book.
  • No black boxes: no locked blocks, no password only we know, programs structured and commented, documents in formats you can open and edit.
  • You do what you want with them: modify the installation yourself, hand an upgrade to another supplier, reuse the documents on another machine — without asking us, and without telling us.
  • A copy kept here as backup, returned on request years later. A safety net for you, not leverage for us.

A client who cannot do without their integrator is not a loyal client, they are a captive one. We would rather you came back because the work suited you.

It is also a question of industrial continuity. A machine whose program nobody can take over becomes an operational risk the day it fails — and that risk is yours, not ours.
